The Davistown RSL Zone 5 team, took on the Zone 6 triples winners to stay alive in the hunt for the NSW RSL Triples Championship.
In a tight game, it came down to the last end with the Davistown team up by 2 shots, 23-21, and holding the last bowl. Their Zone 6 opponents only managed to hold 1 shot at the completion of their bowls, which saw Mike Fletcher 'pocket' his final bowl to take the one shot victory.
The Davistown trio of Chris Jones, Bob Gaze and Mike Fletcher now wait for their next opponent as they edge closer to a State title.
