Congratulations to Ettalong Memorial's Phil Westcott who just played too well over the weekend of 8th and 9th August 2020 to win the 2020 Bowls Central Coast Senior Singles Championship. On the Saturday in the quarter final he defeated Terrigal's Terry Hughes 31-5 and The Entrances' Dick Thornton 31-10 in the semi-final. In the final on the Sunday, Phil played The Entrances' Neil Williams who had a thrilling win in the other semi-final against Terrigal's Tony Shoebridge 31-28 with a last bowl 5 shot turnaround. Phil prevailed over Neil in the final 31-13.
