Good luck to the 1300 or so bowlers starting the 2021 Bowls Central Coast State Pennants Competition tomorrow (6/3/2021). We trust that we will be able to finish the competition this year. Thank you to the Zone Match Committee for preparing the competition and not forgetting the hard work of each of our 21 Club's Pennants Selectors who would have agonised over the side selections. It's a difficult job. You have to follow complex rules and you can't please everybody.
This is a reminder that some Clubs are having difficulties, unique to each Club, in the provision of snacks/food after the completion of Pennant games. These issues have been compounded with the Covid 19 requirements on the preparation and serving of food which are quite onerous.
The following clubs have advised us that they will no longer be providing food, after each Pennant Round. However, refreshments will be available and visiting sides are encouraged to have a drink or two, not necessarily alcoholic, with their opposition before leaving the Club.
