In a remarkable achievement John Roberts of Ettalong Memorial has won his 4th BCC Senior Singles Championship to now win three in a row (2017, 2018 and 2019). The final was a seesawing affair against his fellow Club member Phil Westcott. Phil played brilliantly in the early ends but John knuckled down to gain control of the game. Phil lifted his game in the final ends refusing to give in, but John would not be denied to win 31 to 27.
