Ettalong’s Bailey Meti Captures U18 Grand Slam

Twelve year old Bailey Meti from Ettalong Memorial BC capped off an outstanding week of lawn bowls by winning the “blue ribbon” Under 18 Singles championship played at Bateau Bay BC on Thursday 14th April 2016. He defeated Halekulani’s Josh McDonnell in a cliffhanger of a game 31- 29, having trailed at one stage 18-8.

The 2016 BCC Under 18 Fours Champions is a composite team from Clubs spread through out the Central Coast. Daniel O'Meara (Halekulani), Jarred Crane (Gwandalan), Hailey McDonnell (The Entrance) & Bailey Meti (Ettalong) emerged victors after a 3 way round robin.
