Mooney Mooney Back in Business

Chairman of Match Garry Ellis and his partner Carol were invited to attend the Smallest Bowling Club on the Central Coast, Mooney-Mooney, starting back after the Virus lock down, with a full green of enthusiastic bowlers on Saturday, all playing the opening round of the Club Pairs Championship.

Among the players were the only Life Members of this little club left,  they also happen to be the only Original Bowling Club Members left as well. On the Left is Brett George (trying to look bigger) and on the Right is Bill Millington.

The bowling club now has their own Website - www.bowlsmooney.net  where every member can access what is being played and when. This website has been set up and is being administered by webmaster Chris Martin-Murphy, who is also a playing member of the Mooney-Mooney BC

After our very enjoyable visit to the Mooney-Mooney BC and talking to some of the players after their game, I can say with some certainty that this Small Bowling Club seems certain to be growing their current membership list within the next 6 months and should also be around for many years to come after what we saw on Saturday last.
