Initially proposed by BCC Patron John Peek this event targets players in grades 4 and below who normally do not enter Zone championships.
Patron John Peek is a Life Member of BCC having served as Secretary, President and State Councillor and has always brought new initiatives to those roles.
Our thanks to Creighton's who sponsor the event donating the prize money and the perpetual shield.
The winners of the event, receiving $400 were Ourimbah's Alan Kelly and Tony Aldrich who are pictured below receiving their perpetual trophy from Patron John Peek and Kim from Creightons.
Second place and $300 went to Warren Reekie & Frank Borg of Davistown RSL
Third place and $200 went to Sam Yetkin & Peter Yates of Mingara
4th Place and $100 went to Avoca Beach's Peter Hazelwood & David Warner.
Thanks to Umina Beach for their excellent hosting of the day demonstrating their ability to still look calm and in control even when faced with a major change to the programme.
