The Under 25 Challenge at Raymond Terrace is an annual event organised by the Zone 2 Juniors Committee. This year 8 sides competed in the Event: Zone 2, Zone 2 U18's, Zone 4, Zone 6, Zone 10, Zone 13 Red and Zone 13 Green and Zone 15.
Our 2019 Side was:
Singles - Luke McBeatty (Ettalong Memorial)
Pairs - Brandon Willmette (Gosford City) & Bailey Meti (Ettalong Memorial
Triples - Reece Oliver (Halekulani), Chelsea McKay (Bateau Bay), Mitch McDonnell (Halekulani)
The Pairs and the Triples had mixed results eventually coming 6th and 7th in their disciplines. However they competed better than these results would indicate as the games they lost were mostly by tie break.
Luke McBeatty played outstanding bowls and hopefully attracted the attention of the State Selector who was at the event.
