Everglades Men's Bowls President Ian Richardson presided over a wonderful function that was most competently MC'd by Bowls Secretary Andrew McDonald. Doug Rose pinned Royal Merit Badges on Garry Clarke and Brian Dolan. Royal Tie Bars:were presented to Bill Vincent and Max Hull. Ladies President Jan Jones announced the presentation of RNSWBA Broaches to:Elaine Vincent and Fay Boyd.
Garry Ellis presented BCC Merit Badges to Eddie McCue and David Wakelin, and BCC name bars to:Kevin Hughes and left a name bar for Tom Cain who was unable to attend. Garry also presented BCC Ladies Broaches to Ros Sinnott and Beryl Barber.
Without volunteers like the persons mentioned above Lawn Bowls would not be possible. The Everglades Club is to be congratulated for their consistent actions to recognize hardworking volunteers.
